About Us
Vagabond Coffee Co. was founded by Will and Samantha Morgan in Jacksonville, Florida out of their 1963 Scotty Highlander. They launched their first location in the Laura street Trio lot followed by another in James Weldon Johnson Park where the coffee camper became a unique part of the park’s landscape and daily program. In August of 2015, Vagabond opened their flagship brick-and-mortar shop in Murray Hill.
In 2021, Vagabond Coffee Co. has celebrated its sixth year in business in Jacksonville, with popups from Brooklyn to L.A.
Our Mission
We hold true that we are all vagabonds on our own journeys, in our own way. Our mission is to create an environment where everyone is welcome to come together, build community and create their own individual journeys.
The Roastery
Our roasters work tirelessly to bring the best coffee to our neighborhood. The roastery located adjacent to our flagship store specializes in bringing you fresh, small-batch coffees with unique flavors and carefully sourced beans. Roasting on-site several times a week allows us to serve some of the freshest coffee in the area.
The Coffee Shop
At Vagabond Coffee we strive to be a community gathering place for all. We are passionate about coffee and quality service. Our flagship store is located in the heart of historic Murray Hill, serving coffee and baked goods from our cafe with a bar coming soon. We have a little bit of everything you need to get your day started or to kick back and relax. Need plants, we’ve got those, need cool threads, we’ve got those too. Stop by and say hello!
