This fully washed Mt Elgon coffee comes to us from Kyagalanyi Coffee Ltd, our sister company in Uganda. Mt Elgon is an extinct volcano on the southeastern side of Uganda bordering Kenya. The mountain is prone to high humidity and strong sun with high dry season temperatures. Mt Elgon is Uganda's most developed Arabica growing area and coffee is its main crop. The Bugisu people have grown coffee in the area for generations.
